Ohio's D.J Cooper has earned the StatSheet MAC Player of the Week for the week ending January 28th. StatSheet's MAC Freshman of the Week is Western Michigan's Darius Paul. And finally, Reese Holliday from Toledo is the StatSheet MAC 6th Man of the Week.

Cooper led the all of the MAC in scoring (20.0 pts per game) and assists (7.0 per game). He also put up huge numbers in shooting (50%), rebounding (5 per game), and steals (3 per game). The Ohio senior played well for the Bobcats in victories versus Miami (OH) and Kent State.

Cooper topped all scoring for the Bobcats with 17 points while also adding 9 assists in a 74-62 win over Miami (OH). He followed that up by leading the team in scoring with 23 points plus an additional 5 assists in a narrow 69-68 win against Kent State.

This is the first time that D.J Cooper has been named the StatSheet MAC Player of the Week. However, he has been named a runner-up once and received an honorable mention. The runner-up this week is Akron senior Zeke Marshall. Honorable mention goes to Rian Pearson, a junior from Toledo. Abdel Nader finished 18th and was the highest ranking player from Northern Illinois.
